Volcanoes light my heart on fire.
I'm stranded here, alone,
stave for my one true desire.
Torn between two hearts,
one I greatly cherish,
and one I don't want torn apart.
I'm so afraid of how things'll change,
how she'll never be the same.
I never wanted this to be,
but it looks like the good Lord,
wants to truly test me.
One beautiful beyond all thought,
the other, intellectually inclined.
If only I knew which way to choose.
So many variables,
so many fears.
I have to think of myself,
but for my daughter, I'm stored on a shelf.
No one right answer.
The first an absolute dream.
The other just the opposite,
for her I'm the dream.
I can't be responsible for a broken heart.
I hate it, I never wanted to be a part,
a twisted game I'm not up for.
Only my God in Heaven knows whats in store.
